I created Cardiology TV out of a deep commitment to empowering cardiac patients through clear, accessible education.

As a physical therapist with over 34 years of clinical experience—including more than a decade specializing in cardiac rehabilitation—my roots are firmly planted in hands-on care and patient education.

The Journey: From Cardiopulmonary Rehab Clinics to Waiting Rooms

In 2010, driven by a passion to close the gap in patient knowledge, I launched The Intelligent Option. What started as a dedicated mission to support patients in their recovery has grown into a thriving business.

Today, The Intelligent Option is used in over 70 cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programs across more than 30 states. Our clinical partners range from vital community hospitals to renowned academic medical centers.

Bridging the Gap in Cardiology Care

Through years of working with providers and patients, I identified a critical opportunity: the waiting room.

I created Cardiology TV to turn idle time in waiting environments into valuable learning opportunities. By extending our evidence-based educational library into cardiology waiting areas and treatment rooms, we help practices improve cardiovascular literacy, reduce patient anxiety, and prepare individuals for more productive conversations with their care team.
